The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has sent strong warning to former members of the Board to return vehicles under their possession or be disqualified from the election.
The screening and accreditation of candidates for the election will hold between 7th and 8th March, 2022 in Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt respectively while the election proper will come up on Wednesday 9th March, 2022 .

It was gathered that following the warning all those interested in going for the election have hurriedly returned the vehicles under their possession.
Our source said that before now, most of them had claimed that the vehicles were faulty and cannot be returned .
Our source said that any freight forwarder interested in the election but failed to return the vehicle for whatever reason will not be allowed to take part in the exercise.
The position of the CRFFN, it was gathered has become a big dilemma for the contests who are seeking a second term in office.
An official of the CRFFN who pleaded anonymity told SHIPPING DAY “You can see now, there is fire on the mountain, official vehicles are now being returned as a result of disqualification threat”.
It was gathered that before now only the former chairman and two others retuned their own vehicles.
