NDLEA Seizes Teabags of Cocaine at Airports

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced seizures of teabags containing cocaine at both Abuja and Lagos airports.
In a statement by the spokesman of NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, the four traffickers involved in the crime have been arrested.
Babafemi identified the suspects as 33-year-old Pascal Ekene Okolo and Anigo Godspower.
The other two, Idokoja Chukwurah and Patrick Tochukwu wanted to export drugs to Monrovia.

Okolo was arrested at the arrival hall of Abuja International Airport on Sunday 17th April with 4.1 kilogramme of cocaine concealed in different medicinal teabags.
He was coming from Sao Paulo via Doha.
Godspowwer, a Canada-based Nigerian, was caught at the D-Arrival Hall of the Lagos International Airport, during clearance for passengers on board Qatar Airways from Sao Paolo via Doha to Lagos with 2.1 kilogrammes of cocaine.

Babafemi said that those arrested between 16th and 17th April, 2022, attempted to export the drug to Monrovia, Liberia were Idokoja Chukwurah and Patrick Tochukwu.
