The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Monday denied reports that its acting Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to a statement by the EFCC, Magu simply honoured an invitation by the Presidential Panel currently reviewing the activities of the EFCC.
The statement said Magu had attended the invitation at the Banquet Hall wing of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Similarly, the Spokesman of DSS, Dr Peter Afunanya, had earlier denied arresting the EFCC chairman.
